CBN — Construct by Nuthatch
Healthcare Facility Construction & Renovation
IPAC-compliant construction in occupied healthcare environments. We understand what it means to build in a facility where patient safety is non-negotiable.
Our Approach
Healthcare construction requires a different standard.
We have worked within the demanding environment of BC Children's and Women's Hospital and understand the protocols, compliance requirements, and culture of care that hospital construction demands. From IPAC containment to hot work permits to the hospital code system — our team arrives trained and prepared.
Every worker on a healthcare project has completed a criminal record check before their first day on site. All workers comply fully with the BC Health Authority's current vaccination requirements. We operate with a comprehensive Healthcare Facility Safety Manual that governs our conduct, our subtrades, and our site from day one.
IPAC Compliance
Full infection control risk assessment compliance — Class I through IV. Negative air pressure, HEPA filtration, sticky mats, and sealed containment barriers.
Patient & Staff Safety
Noise management, vibration protocols, VOC control, and right-of-way for all hospital staff, patients, and visitors without exception.
Documentation & Compliance
Daily sign-in sheets, criminal record checks on file, vaccination records, toolbox talks, incident reporting, and full WorkSafeBC compliance.
Occupied Environment Experience
We have built in occupied clinical environments. We know what RACE means, what the codes mean, and when to stop work.
